Has anyone received their SR box yet? I have been away from home just got back last night hoping I didn't miss the fed ex. Today has been hard. I have been cleaning all day just to keep my mind off. This is harder than I imagined. I miss hearing his voice and talking to him. I am trying to stay strong. For now I'll keep busy and start writing my letters for when I receive his formal letter.
Yes, write... I have wrote my son a letter everyday since he left last Tuesday. I too have been going through all kinds of emotions, I have to keep his bedroom door shut or I start to tear up. Stay strong, we will get through this together. And, no box for me yet either...
Just received my son's box!!!
Got my son's box today!!!!!! Never thought it would mean so much. He arrived at boot camp August 18th.

Congrats Betty!! My son left on the 19th and I am keeping fingers & toes crossed that we get something soon!!

Thank you... Hoping for you too.
Just got my "Boy in a box"!!!! So excited it was a little stinky but it was a great smell!

I was just going to reply to you and ask if you got your "boy in a box".....so happy for you!!!

You made me laugh about the smell....lol

Mine will definatley smell also....lol but like you said it will be a great smell.

How do I add you as a friend?

I just got home and missed the fedex with my son's box:( I have to wait until after 6pm to pick up otherwise they will try to deliver again. The problem is that I work all day. Hoping to receive this evening

Gabriel'smom, if you don't get "the box" this evening, be sure to sign the note from FedEx or leave a signed and dated note for the FedEx driver to leave it tomorrow.

I send friend request :-)
When did your son/daughter get to GL? I was gonna say the same thing, smelly but what a wonderful smell. Who would of thought that a box with young men's clothes in it would be sooooo wonderful!!!
