I am looking for anyone that has a child leaving for boot camp on Aug. 25.
I am starting to feel some anxiety. I think after cleaning his bedroom out it hit me harder than I thought it would. Seven more days and I am nervous for him. He seems to be fine....its me. lol

I got my call last night. It is scripted and they cant really talk to you but I said I love you and am so proud of you before she hung up :)
That is great that you still said those things before she hung up.....she heard you and that will help her get through.
Farah - I am with you. I was so strong up until it was time for him to get on the bus. I've had multiple crying spells since. I am literally exhausted. I also understand the depressed comment. I just really hate his absence. Both in person and in communication (once he gets there). I am hoping time will heal the heart and each day will get easier.
BLAH!
(Is this where I was supposed to offer words of encouragement - whoopsie!)
Is anyone on Navy Moms on fb.....there are a lot of different groups.
my individual fb page is Mike Linda Locklear .
Sherry Silliman :) I also just put in a request for the Navy Moms FB page.
I have put in a request to join the Navy for Moms Facebook group. Just did it so it's still pending.
