tysmom, Waiting for a clarification on the address. Will let you know ASAP!
tysmom, Sent you a friend request with the address in the message box! Thanks for your patience!
THANK YOU!!
Somehow I lost count as I was making cards for this group & have made 151. Wish I had recounted before writing in ALL of them. So my question is, should I send all of them to this POC and ask that they give the extras to another group OR is there another small group I can send these "Thanksgiving" theme cards to?
Your choice! I'm sure there are more soldiers in Kuwait that would love a card. OR I can send you the address of a group of sailors that just deployed. Just LMK!!!
This was an easy decision. My heart says to ask you for the count and address of the sailors just deployed. I have supplies left over to make more cards by the ship date. My son-in-law is on his 2nd deployment for this year. This has been great for me because my active duty daughter calls & texts me 3 to 5 times a week, instead of 2 x a month. Already cutting cards for the Nov. adoption . . . aiming for 230 plus!
No, I started making cards on my own specifically for MAS adoptees the first month I joined MAS in Jan 2012. I have made most of the 3,000 from the stacks of scrapbooking paper I hoarded back in 2005 to 2010. I go to yard sales specifically to look for envelopes and/or Christmas cards. I'm self-taught. Will have to google OWH.
