Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 009 and 010
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Tori126, So glad to hear we're getting calls!
Just got my call. :-) Hope you all get yours. Division 010.
Glad to hear you were able to talk for so long!
Hi, Glad to hear we're starting to get calls. I got one too! We only talked for about 5 minutes, but it was great to hear his voice. I found out he was one of those recruits who got his wisdom teeth out. It sounds like they're being told they can have up to 35 people come to the overflow room to view the ceremony. Has anybody else heard that? Looking on the site, it sounds like "first come, first served" for the overflow, so I know we want to get there early. If any of the moms who have been through PIR are monitoring this thread, would you please let me know if there is a way to drop off handicapped people closer to the overflow site? Grandma would love to come view, but walking great distances makes it hard for her to breathe (if not, she'll stream it online). Thanks for any insight.
We finally got a letter today!! We were so very excited!......Ship 14 Div 010. He sounds focused and said he misses everyone from home but is not homesick. He said his fellow "SR's" are all getting each other through the tough times. No mention of wisdom teeth removal...
I also got mail. Sounds like a rowdy bunch in Div 010. LOL.. I can tell my SR is homesick. He said he would also like to take a bath or shower by himself. He is tired of seeing everyone's stuff. ROFLOL Other than that, he is studying a lot and waiting to receive mail. :-)
