My husband, daughter and I will be there....along with my SR's girlfriend who is coming with us.
The Meet & Greet is a lot of fun. A great opportunity to meet everyone, and it's very casual/laid back atmosphere. Babies and Grandparents will be there- very family oriented. There are alcoholic beverages for those who may "need one" :)
We are decorating our door (SRs GF and sister have that project to keep them busy) but we are staying at Candlewood Suites in Waukegan. Our son will be flying out, so only hours with him :(
Getting excited now and feel like I need to get busy :)
My husband & I will be at Meet & Greet! Daughter is flying in later that night, can't miss college classes that day. Can't wait to meet everyone! :) Staying at Navy Lodge... probably going to do something very simple for the door :) Thanks Tinamarie105 for starting this discussion!!
We're signed up for the meet & greet! Can't wait to meet everyone! Hope and pray all travel plans go smooth.
Please tell me I am not the only one who is having a hard time keeping track of everyone.....I know it's the names we use on this site. I feel like I am forgetting so easily, and probably repeating myself to some of you, so my apologies. I am on the FB PIR groups as well, so makes it even more confusing for me. I know we will have name tags at the Meet & Greet, so could we maybe put our "Navy 4 Moms" names on those also? LOL. How are we ever going to know who is who? I think it's quite comical. Maybe we should all wear a neon yellow scarf or something ? LOL Something to easily identify ourselves from the rest of the group who isn't on here.
gonna post this on the main page of our group to see if anybody has any ideas.
Not sure if you got this info from someone yet, but I'm just checking in here after the weekend! Here's where to RSVP:
I saw where we could put our usernames from forum under our names at meet and greet. I will do this! Or whatever everyone decides to do!
That sounds good- and simple :)
