Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 031 and 032
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I am so excited...I received my first phone call from my son! He sounded so good. Said he was doing well, getting used to the routine of things and that he has really awesome rack-mates. I was so taken of guard I couldn't think of all the things I wanted to ask him. I feel so much better after hearing his voice! It was one of those bad days, very depressed and the good Lord answered my prayers! I haven't let my phone leave my body and I am so happy that I didn't miss his call. If you haven't gotten a call yet, you will! And it will be just what you need at just the right time!
Ill try again - it wast there last time I looked.

Do all Ship 6 - Division 31 and 32 go to Groton Sub Base for training after Boot Camp graduation?
I don't believe so, I know my son is going to Pensacola for A school
Must just be the submarine-ers that go to Groton first.
Hi there! I'm a DIV 032 mom too. I haven't seen to many others on here so far. My son is also not much of a writer but I got one quick note from him with the Adopt-A-Sailor form. Hearing anything from him is great. So far I got my initial "im here" call, and then I was able to talk to him about 2 and half weeks ago for maybe 10 minutes. He was keeping it short because other recruits were still waiting for a phone to get their calls in. His second phone call opportunity went to his grandmother since her birthday is coming up. I also got to speak to him last night for about 2 minutes. He was allowed a phone call to add someone to his adopt-a-sailor form. My husband and I will be driving to the GL for Thanksgiving. I'm just waiting for an email from public affairs to comfrim the change form. We are adopting a recruit with the initials WE from 032. I am hoping to connect with his family. I am looking forward to the trip and praying the weather is kind to us. I look forward to meeting everyone at PIR.
I got my confirmation to adopt SR initials WE from DIV 32! If this recruit belongs to anyone in the group, I would love to hear from you.
