Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 905 and 906

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good morning all!

Good morning
Thanks Ellen for doing this and for all your comments/help/advice. Second, hi to all other members in ship 02 division 905 and 906. No phone call yet or mail other than form letters. Hoping soon!
We are from Northwest IN, 25 miles from Chicago (70 from Great Lakes). Where are you all from?

Yes, thank you Ellen!

We have received our daughter's box, form letter and Adopt-A-Sailor form with a small note in it.  Still impatiently waiting for a phone call.  Our daughter is div. 906.

We are 40 minutes North of Mpls, MN, about 6.5 hours from GL.

Thank you Ellen! This is a great idea! Hi 905 and 906 moms. I don't think any of us have gotten a personal letter or phone call yet have we? It seems the other divisions have. My daughter is ship 905.

Hi Beth, I have heard of two mom's that got phone calls other than the I made it scripted call.  Unfortunately I am not one of them.

Hello, I received a call from my SR on 11/1. She wanted to how was Halloween and can I save her candy for when I come. She was feeling down because she had not received any of our family letters to her yet. I told her they may take time. We talked for about 15-20 mins then she called her best friend after..

Her name is SR WHITTIKER,A. Hope to see you on 12/11.. I can't wait..
We have only received the box and form letter. Our daughter is div. 906. We are from Florida so we will not be able to come for Thanksgiving. I hope she will be able to spend the day with a family.
Thanks Navymom65 for the update. Our time is coming! Pages navy we live in San Diego. We won't be able to make it for Thanksgiving either. It's just too far. We are coming to the graduation though. Counting the days down for that. Is your SRs A school in Florida? That would be awesome for you. My daughter has a school in pensacola Florida.
In on the same boat. We live in corona,ca just too expensive to do both :(... Less than a month away. I'm so excited..
Yes Beth she will be coming to Pensacola for A School. Very excited about that.
