Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 001 and 002

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

That former Sailor must have had PIR in the 70's or before because the last time the Navy had a Family Day was then. Now the first time you will see your Sailor is on the day of PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

(I'm leaving the group now, so if you have a comment for me, please leave it on my My Page.)

Looking forward to those last calls coming soon. Can't wait. I changed my flight to Wednesday. Wanted more time to prepare, not be so rushed with such an early start Friday morn. Im flying american. Said $200 fee. But they waived it for me due to navy!!!!

Wow that is great they waived the fee for you, I tried to change my husbands flight and explained that we were going to the Navy Graduation and they would not hear of any change, I had to actually just lose the one ticket and purchase a new ticket because it was cheaper that way.  That was United.  We are flying in on Thursday morning.

Super Cute Bunny Waving

Too cute!# waving bunny!! I was looking for private messages from the bunny! Ha but just seeing a waving bunny. Love it
Hi Everyone
This is the first Thursday that I didn't receive a letter from my daughter. Wow, what a reality check. The days are dwindling and I'm on pins and needles with anxiety. Just waiting for the call. Hang tough everyone, we will get through this. I am so thankful for my new Navy Family.
Jackie
Alexandrasmom!! In thought and prayer, and anticipation! !! Yes the letter time is about done, huh!? Wow. What a ride this has been. Can't imagine what it's been like for the srs, Soon to be sailors!!!!
Division 001 and 002. Together in thought and prayer!!! So thankful to share these times together!! So thankful our srs are sharing such a milestone in their lives together. I'm sure they will pull together and support and encourage each other thru these final challenges. And we will all exult wth the anticipated calls. Yaaaay. Hooyaah!!
Sounds like we are all in the same boat with anxiety not having heard any word for some of us 2 weeks and others just this week with no letters and no calls. We all have to stay strong and positive for our heros. I am sure we can all share the same pride in our recruits because we all know how brave they were to make this choice. We are almost there. Looking forward to meeting many if you next week.
Only son navy bound, blue candles burning! !

Any word from Div 001 or Div 002 re: battle stations?
