Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 905 and 906

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My daughter is in 905 and told me she is flags and hers is AO since that's what her job will be.
Hi, Beth, that is interesting, I didn't get a chance to ask that our phone call was short. I sent him a fill in the blank letter asking though!
No....I was hoping but no call and no letter yet
No, we did not get a phone call this weekend nor any letters yet.
Unfortunately we did not receive a call from our daughter in division 905. Nor have I received a personal letter as of yet. Have you?
Thanks everybody for replying. I'm sorry that none of you have gotten a call or letter yet either. But In a way it makes me feel better that it's not just my daughter. Tomorrow is going to be our day to get a letter moms!
No call or letter yet.
They must not send them out Monday. I can't imagine that they take s full week to get here. I sure hope they were able to write Sunday.
So far I have received 4 personal letters from my SR. The last one was postmarked 11/2. I think she writes in bulk then send as one. Her aunt also sent her pre stamped envelopes, regular stamps and stationary.. Not sure if she got those yet. Also I sent a package of about 25 letters of OPEN WHEN LETTERS to keep get happy. No response yet of she has received
I'm going to tell myself that my son is way too busy to call or write. Maybe it'll keep me from going bananas! I write him daily and I'm going to assume that he is getting my letters. I have felt like a crazy person waiting for some kind of communication. For my sanity and those around me I need to just face the possibility that I may not hear from him until the "I'm a Sailor" call.
I feel the same way I was so sad last night when no call came and no letter Sat. Hopefully today we will all have our spirits lifted with a letter in our mailbox.

Hello from Minnesota!

I am so happy to be with all of you! My SR is Ship 02 Div 905! Like you all, no personal letter yet. One phone call 2 weekends ago. We sent a letter last Monday. and I am heading to the post office with another, today. I hold to the fact that he is working and studying and developing friendships. A phone call or letter would be nice though.
