Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 015 and 016
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I have lots of friends in the Milwaukee area! Some of them hope to come and meet me on Saturday evening for dinner, and I hope that works out. Lucky you, are you going to drive to PIR? I wish we could, because I know my son would love to see our dog. I can't bring her on the plane, it would be too much. I think this site is a great lifeline for us!
Yes we will drive. It's about 2 hours depending on traffic. Hopefully your Milwaukee friend will make it down. It's funny you mention a pet. My daughter would love to see her cat and although we could bring him (boy cat) my husband sad NO. The Navy Lodge even has pet friendly rooms. Oh well.
We will be staying at the lodge and hope to go to Sarge's there will be 6 of us traveling, so a big group. Not all will be going to graduation. Thanks for asking.
Have the addresses changed for our recruits? My son was sending mail from one address, and the last letter I received is a different street address, but the same division, and of course, Great Lakes. Should I go with the new address? Help!
Addresses have not changed that I know Of. If I were you I'd send correspondence to the original address given to you in your SRs form letter.
Where can I read about the table centerpieces for the "meet and greet". Just a week away WOOT WOOT
Hello, Our son is with Ship 11 Div 015 and we have not heard from him in a couple weeks. We are set to leave for Chicago in the morning from West Texas. He is set to graduate on Thursday. Has anyone heard from their Recruits? Have they done BattleStations or have you got your call as of yet? We are so nervous and concerned that he is doing OK. Thank you, Mendabee
Mendabee, my daughter is also with Ship 11 Div 015. I have not heard from her in a couple of weeks either. Graduation is actually set for Friday, November 20, not Thursday. I am also concerned, but have been told that no news is good news. Please let me know if you hear anything from your recruit.
Thank you so much for your response! "Your right" Graduation is Friday:) I will let you know if I hear anything from my Son K... Hopefully we get the I'm a Sailor call soon. We are so anxious, nervous, Proud, etc, etc,
We received our call from our daughter last night, such an exciting time!
