Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 907 and 908

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Grizzy01, Did they come from Pennsylvania?

My husband is in Div 907 and will be staying in Great Lakes for A school. He called me yesterday for paperwork and said they were on DOT 1-2. They also had their swim test yesterday & first PT today. Praying all went well for all SR's! Only 6 more weeks!!
Great news to hear what they are doing
Hello everyone!!!! Has anyone heard from their sailor

I had a quick call Tuesday evening - needed paperwork.

I got a very quick call on Monday.  He was working on his security clearance checks for his advanced training after basic training.  He sounded so confident and grown up!

My son is on ship 02 Div. 908 and I still haven't heard from him. Getting nervous, is that normal?
@Angela
My son is also on that ship and Div and I haven't heard from mine either. He told me when he got to call he will call me in 3wks. From what I have been reading they should get to start writing on sunday
Remember they say no news is good news!!
My son just called me. They are letting some recruits call now. Be on alert. He received my mail yesterday but won't be able to send outgoing until tomorrow. I am a bit upset he did not mail me the adopt a sailor form. He is going to try and send me one. Good luck to all!
Ship 02 division 907. Son just called, they are doing great. They got mail this week. Today is 1-6. There is 5 inches of snow out there today. The food is good and they marched in the blizzard. It was great. Good luck to everyone else and stay near your phones. We missed the first call and we worried we would not get another. But we did. They like their division! I enjoynreading everyone's comments and it is great to stay in touch. We feel great to hear what they are doing. We watched the. PIR videos and they are great to see what will happen at PIR.

I just wanted to say thank you...

My husband's father passed away Sunday morning unexpectedly. I contacted the Red Cross, who contacted RTC, who contacted my husband. He will be able to fly in for the memorial service. I talked to him briefly, and he said that everyone in the division has been very nice and supportive. I wanted to thank you for your SR's love and "brotherhood" during this time since I can't yet be with him!
