Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 043 and 044

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Some of Div. 43 (Maybe 44 as well?) were at a Free Mason's Lodge somewhere near the base. We also got to Facetime with our son and see him in uniform for the first time.  Wild. They were SO enjoying their time - a movie, lots of treats, dinner, phones/Ipads, etc. My son was so impressed with how hospitable and giving everyone was. I'd love to send an email thanking them, but I have no idea where they actually were. Anybody else find out?

Our son in in Div 044.  He went to Chicago Ridge American Legion.  Some of the 30 there were from Div 044 and some also from DIV 906.  Links to videos:

Hey everyone on Ship 06 Div 044 - The boys do Battle Stations early this week.  So keep those phones close for that afternoon I'm a Sailor call.

We're almost there...just a few more days.

Joan

(copy/pasted deleting BattleStations date which is prohibited on the public forums)

For those who may be flying when the I'm a Sailor call comes in with your phones off, be sure to change your voicemail to greet your new sailor and ask that he/she leave a long message(s) in case you cannot talk to them again before PIR.

Hi all - just got my call, and NATURALLY I missed it!!  Grrr!  However, he said it was his last call before graduation so I am assuming he passed!  He did leave a message, he sounded exhausted, and I am hoping he tries to call me back.

Hi all - Everyone in DIV 043 who went to Battlestations passed!  There were some who were kicked out prior to that, but I assume you already know that.  Congrats, we are all now Moms of fine Sailors!!
