Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 051 and 052
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I am expecting a letter today! We talked to our daughter yesterday morning and she said their first letters were written on Sunday, and she had received our first batch of letters Sunday too. I'm hoping we can keep her getting letter every day from here on out. She said they were so excited to get mail and they read and reread each others letters and she said her friend from Missouri's mom and I sounded a lot alike. Any moms in this group from Missouri with a daughter in 052? It was good to hear she had a friend supporting her there!
Yay! So exciting! When we talked to our SR on Tuesday it sounded like it really lifted her spirits to know we had our tickets. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
My daughter was the same way, she said she missed the running by seconds...she was pretty bummed about that. When I talked to her on Tuesday she said they had their first chance to write Sunday, and Monday was the first night they got mail, so she had just received their first batch of letters so I'm sure he has received yours by now. She said she got 8 the first delivery, so it was like all of ours had just been sitting there waiting to be delivered. Hang in there mom, the delay is killing me too but soon we'll be all caught up!
Did you get a call today? We got another one, I was shocked and so excited at the same time! The connection was horrible though, she had to hang up twice and try a different phone so that cut into our time :(
I need to too! I sent her with 2 and she is now on her second one. There is no way they were 150 minutes each card! (my husband told me that....I didn't believe him!)
, he talked with me for 40, and his grandma for a few, not sure how long. He also had tried calling his daddy and brother and they didn't answer, but the card takes .49 to connect,... anyways after 4 connections and talking to me and his grandma, he had $1.09 left on a $10.00 card. I called and refilled it today and put $20.00 on it. I didn't want for him to get to call and have no minutes. I 'm not sure how those minutes and dollar amounts work, but it's not exactly how we think..lol
My daughter sounded stuffy today too! She thought it was from all the shots they have been given. I hope your sailor is feeling better soon!
