Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 153 and 154

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

No call from my husband yet or letters. The mailman has not come by today yet
No calls
I did get a letter from my son today. It was dated 2/29 but postmarked 3/7. He is ship6 div 153. His girlfriend and my mother also got letters today with the same postmark. He said he was on P-hold for a week and it took a week and a half to get to get to their ship. March 1st started 1-1 day. Was a very positive letter! Said not to worry that he is taken care of. They were starting to get mail as of 2/28. We live in Cincinnati. Hope this helps! Hope everyone gets letters soon! Hang in there!
That's great Cincy96!! Have you also received a call?
Any letters/calls today from Ship 06 DIV 154?
Received 2 letters today. Very happy. My son wrote that he would call soon. Made my day. Sooo happy. Now.. waiting for the phone call

Received a letter from my Son today.  OMG....made me so very happy.  Can't wait for the phone call.  He is on ship 06 / Div 153.

I received my first letter from my husband today (He is on Ship 06/Div 154). It broke my heart to read that he hasn't receive any letters at all, and asks why I haven't written him and to read that he feels so alone :( I have sent a total of 21 letters (13 letters written from me and 8 written from family members) since Feb 26th. It hurts to hear that he hasn't receive not even ONE! In his letter he says that they receive mail everyday....so I don't understand what is going on....

I would really like some answers if anyone could help..

My husband mentions 3 friends he has made in his letter: a Nuke with last name initial G (from CA), a Nuke with last name initial M (from Virginia), and a recruit with the last name initial A (from Texas). If this might be your son or husband, please send me a private message!

Thank you

My son is in your husbands division, also going into nuke. The last name M., but from Florida.

Hmm, is there a "y" in your son's last name kmom?

We got our first letter yesterday! It was great to hear from him. He likes his division. He is on Ship 06, Div 153.
