OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

This group isn’t very active. There’s a good Facebook group for Texas Navy Families that’s active.

Hi everyone! My son got the GL on June 9th. We live in Salado, Texas and I am looking forward to learning from and getting to know you all!

Hello everyone! Thanks for the add to the group. I am from the Dallas area but I am now in between Denton and Decatur in Ponder. My son arrived to BC Monday evening. I got the scripted call that night but I was already asleep :(

CindyLouWho  it is SUPER hard not being able to hear from your loved one!  Hang in there!  Letters and phone calls will come.

Hello Navy Moms!  I’m new to the group also.  My son recently got out of quarantine and I’m waiting to get my first call or letter, whichever comes first.  Looking forward to learning from those that have done this before.
