Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My daughter-n-law called his chief recruiter and we got his address.  While we understand the ship may change, his division should not. Ship 11/div178.

Well it was totally unexpected call but I think my SR got put in processing hold since he didn't really start until Friday. He did say he thought his PIR date would be later than he thought. It's like waiting in the dark on all this! To make things worse is my husband works overseas but hasn't had to go in the last 4 years. He leaves Friday for 2 months!! Think I'll put myself in boot camp to get over them both being gone. Please let me know when you hear from yor SR. Bet you get his box this week.i know the letter comes later. How old is your son? Mine turns 25 tomorrow!

Hi Star, Have you gotten any word from your SR as far as when his PIR is? Mine called Sunday and he was starting processing week this week. He will most likely graduate 6/15.
