OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Profile Information

A little about me:
I am the mother of 4, with my Depper being the youngest.I work in a Pediatric Office as a Triage Co-ordinator.
I enjoy photography, long rides on our Harley ,creating pottery traveling, playing with our two grand-kids, and sunsets at the beach.
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Needed to learn more about it
My Name is Sue and originally my son enlisted in the Navy. That was incredible, yet sad, as he is my youngest, and I am extremely attatched to him. Went thru Pop Warner foorball, all the wat thru Varsity football on the side lines as Football mom.
Two weeks after visiting the recruiter my boy announced that his goal was to become a SEAL. Though proud as I could be, my heart was torn in half !
My boy passed all the physicl requirements with incredible scores and is such a motivated young man. I know in my heart that he WILL do this. I support him 100%, have watchad and learned as much as possible about SEAL training and have sopped there.
OMG ... I really need some other Mom or Dad that has been thru this before with a teenage son that thrives on discipline, motivation and challange. I am a mess with what I have to deal with.
Please be in touch with me....
