It's not a good idea to post a pic of your Sailors every time you post. See change 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). Also make change 3 while you are there. There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes. Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP code to one that is not easily associated with your Sailors.

You may also want to join CARRIER Families!. This fB page may be of interest as well, https://www.facebook.com/USSTheodoreRoosevelt. The home port will shift to San Diego at the end of the current deployment and you will want to join San Diego Moms or Sailors in San Diego, San Diego Moms/SOs, Lemoore NAS California Moms, and/or Sailors Stationed in California at that time if your Sailor is staying with the TR. If your Sailor changes to the GW instead, join USS George Washington Sailors, CARRIER Families!, and/or Norfolk Sailors - Family & Friends.

Hi Kathy!
Cody is doing well. He is hunkered down in Connecticut and seems to be getting used to life under water a little. Where is Paddy going?
Hugs back,
Wendy

You are very welcome. I didn't know about it either until recently.
If you happen to notice someone who needs to make the change, let them know how to change it, point them to one of the discussions I started about this (such as http://www.navyformoms.com/group/newmomsstophere/forum/topics/if-your-user-name-contains), or send them to me. Blessings to you and yours.

Kathy, Thanks for the comment. Matt finished ATT yesterday. Today wen to the A school and put in his dream sheet. Not sure when he will start A school. Thought it was interesting that he put in a dream sheet before starting classes. I have missed chatting with you. I always look when I am on aol to see if you are on or not. What is Ty up to? How much longer does he have? What did he put on his dream sheet? When Matt was telling me what he put down it hit me once again, this kid really is gone. Every once in a while it hits me up side the head. Somedays I feel like he is at school at will be home around 4:00. Weird isn't it?

Kathy, please accept my friend request so we can message each other rather than leave public comments. Our weekend was all I dreamed it would be. I hated leaving Matt again but have high hope it won't be long until we see him again. He is supposed to move to the other side on Wednesday. What is Ty doing now? Still cleaning or has he started one of the classes?

Thanks so much for thinking about me. Cleaning, fun. I wonder if our boys will be in the same class. Wonder how many are in one class. Isn't there some two week indoc types classes they take leading up to A school? Nice to hear about liberty. Does Ty have a phone, computer, video game, tv, what with him? How is this ship he is on now? I heard from one Mom whose son was on hold that he moved to several different ships. Some were nice others were horrible. Can't wait for Friday. It is strange I am crying at the drop of a pin just like I was when he first left. I just wanna get there and see him. I will definitely let you know how the weekend went. Thanks again.

Kathy, When did your son PIR? My son PIRs on 11-14. He is excited to get started with GM A school. Sounds like he may have a wait. What has Ty been doing while on hold for GM? Glad to see he will be home for Christmas. I would love to hear from you.
