Yes! My son is Div 921, PIR 3/31. Did you receive a form letter? We have not yet.

My son is also in DIV 921 PRI 3/31. I just received the form letter today

Melissa, I left info for you on your My Page.

My son is also Div 921. I haven't gotten form letter yet so it is good to hear confirmation of PIR 3/31.

kimmomof3, check your My Page.

/Hi everyone. I was curious whether anyone else in this group has gotten a letter from their recruit. My son was able to write home on his 4th day at BC. He said it was a privilege only because "we" had good behavior. I'm assuming the "we" meant his whole division (921). It was a short letter. He said they only had 30 min to write. They hadn't even done medical yet so he didn't have too much to share. Said lots of people were crying as they wrote home. Said boot camp isn't hard, it's just a matter of listening to the RDCs. He said there were 88 people in their division and now there are only 84 (didn't say why). He said he could make a bed really well and really fast now. :) He told us some of the names (head=bathroom, deck=floor). Said that the RTC is beautiful and he couldn't wait to show us at PIR. Just wondering what your recruits are saying, if you've heard anything. I find myself thinking about him all the time and wondering what he is doing. Just thought I would share what I know so far .(He left Feb 1st for Great Lakes)

Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening and what to expect and the Page, What does ??? mean? (A Guide to Navy Abbreviations and Terminology), will help you with many of the new terms you will come across.

Hi, all mom's of DIV 921.  I am still trying to navigate through all this?

DO YOU HAVE TO INCLUDE THE SHIPS ACTUAL NAME ON THE ADDRESS OR DO YOU JUST PUT ship 02 like it says on the form letter?

Sansan61 I do!!!

No, you do not have to, but if your recruit does, then do. Use the info on the form letter.

Exoluxion13 I recognize that bear! I am hoping we hear from him soon!!!
