Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Need Advice (again!)

Posted on March 12, 2012 at 4:29pm 4 Comments

Dear All, I am sorry to be a pest but I have more information to put out there in hopes someone can give me some good advice on behalf of my daughter.  On November 21, 2011, I posted about the behavior of my son-in-law while he was attending A school and his rejection of my daughter etc.  He put them into over $6600 in debt, told her to give the baby up for adoption etc.  She contacted the chaplain for advice and it ended up that he was sorry and she moved to Groton the middle of January. …

Moving to Norfolk

Hello, Everyone.   I am looking for some advice for my daughter and son-in-law.  They were blessed with their first child on February 17 but on February 29, my son-in-law was sent to Pensacola for a month's schooling and told that he would be transfered to Norfolk (my daughter joined him in Groton, CT the middle of January so that they could be together for the birth of their daughter) when he was done.  As part of his checkout, they gave notice to the housing and need to be out by April 3. …

Spousal Rights

Travel from TF Green to New London, Ct (Groton) Subase

Posted on November 14, 2011 at 3:43pm 7 Comments

My daughter is married to a sailor attending A school in Groton and I am trying to help her get there from TF Green airport.  I think the solution is Amtrak from Providence but am posting this in case anyone knows of any other affordable options or if the Navy provides family transport....  Thanks to all.  Being from Houston, we are not that familiar with public transport so this has been a challenge.
