A little about me:
Who am I? I am an incredibly blessed woman, that's who I am! I have a beautiful 18 year-old son who joined the Navy on October 5, 2010, to be a corpsman. I absolutely love being a MOM (it's my favorite thing!) and am overwhelmed that God would chose me to raise him. . .My son has been my number one mission field, and being his mother has helped me gain a greater understanding of God's character. I have also been given the immeasurable privilege of being David's helpmate! Being chosen as his wife is an incredibly humbling and joyful experience. He's my best friend, and he challenges me to strengthen my relationship with Christ just by being the wonderful man of God that he is. I am truly such an incredibly blessed woman!!!

Funny we know the guys first names and they know the last names. Let me know if I am right. My sailor though there must be a million Cody's in N4M but they did PIR together.

Hi Billie -

My daughter is a DC in Sasebo, Japan.  Since her ship is an amphibious assult, whenever they deploy the USS Essex stops in Okinawa to pick up Marines and all their equipment.  Sorry I'm not much help, I have only flown into Seoul, Korea, and Fukuoka, Japan when we went laster year on the Tiger Cruise.  We then flew out of Narita airport near Tokyo.  Do you have your passport?

Matt said he has meet some really great friends in there and that they will remain friends the rest of his life. Matt also said he got to go to church for the first time since he arrived and I was really glad to hear that. He ask me to send him some more bible verses(I put some in his address book when he left). Anyway I hope you hear from your son soon. we need to keep in touch:) Shelly
