FIRST TIME HERE?

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am so glad you heard from your daughter!!! I hope she is doing well so far!!! I still have all the letters my daughter wrote me 2 1/2 years ago, and I have the ones my son wrote me 7 years ago!!!!!! They are priceless!!!!
What does your daughter do in the 900 division?

Hi Vicky, here is info for the ribbons. Send it to me in a message. I have sent you a friend request. Once you accept it you can send me messages there. I will send you my address once I get your info.
If you have any questions at all please let me know. I have been through boot camp once already lol. So I am here to help. For the ribbons you can send me a message with the following info:
1. name of SR (first or last, whichever you prefer)
2. division number
3. PIR date
4. How many ribbons you want (suitable for men also)
5. If in the 900's divisions is SR in band or choir (if so we put a music note on the ribbons)
6. gold or silver letters
7. Your name and address for shipping.

The ribbons are $5.00 each and no matter how many you get shipping is only $2.00.
I have been making the ribbons since July for anyone who wants them. I don't do it for a profit, just enough to pay for supplies. It is my way of paying it forward. I love this site and it has helped me so much.

I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!! We are a friendly, caring group of moms always willing to listen and support. Please feel free to jump in and join our chats!! We like to discuss everything from our sailors to our jobs, weather, whatever. It's also a great place if you want to yell, scream, vent, cry - - there is no judgment involved!!! Brag about your sailor but also tell us when you are hurting because you miss her so!!!
