Wow!  PIR IS OVER!!  I had the time of my life, and seeing my daughter in uniform for the first time was overwhelming.

Wow!  I can't believe we're just 3 days from PIR!!  It seems so long ago that she left, and today I got my phone call saying she was a Sailor!  Getting things ready, can't exactly sleep, don't know what to think, lots to do--just going crazy.  Will be in Great Lakes on Thursday afternoon, meeting at Sarge's for the Meet & Greet for those of you wanting to go.  Be there!!

Hello jennsmom! How are you, very well I hope. Thank you for your request, I gladly accepted :) Its very exciting having a SR in the "Honor" division isn't it. Are you a member of the 9/21/2012 PIR group on this site? Im very excited to fly out to IL in a couple of weeks to see my boyfriend graduate. Thanks for the info about the PIR meet and greet! Perhaps I will see you there! :)

God Bless,

Briana

I think I might have a handle on this page.  My daughter is in Ship 02, Div 945 with PIR on 09/21/2012.  I'm planning on the meet and greet at Flanagan's.  Don't have reservations made yet, but still waiting for word from my daughter about her detachment and flight details to her next stop.  I'm excited to go, and more excited to see her.  We've been separated before, but not this long.  It's good to know I can visit her when she's in A school though.  Can't wait to see what her leave schedule will turn out to be.  Wishing myself and her the best of luck in these endeavors.  PS:  It was a kick getting the letters from her, on Navy stationery.  May sound silly, but I'm that way.
