BC August 21

Hello everyone, anyone else has a daughter that left on the 21st? My daughter was supposed to leave on the 20th but they overbooked and she flew out the next day. I received my call Wednesday night and boy oh boy was it though. Now I I’m waiting for my box. See More

navymom 2011,

I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!  We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor.  I see you are not new to N4Ms and your daughter is in boot camp now?  Please feel free to jump in and join our conversations on our group page.  You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life.  We are all in different phases of our daughter’s Naval careers - from newbies to those whose daughters have been in for several years - from officer to enlisted!!! We support all our sailor girls and each other as well. Not just during the Bootcamp days but the weeks and months following, as they go off to school, first duty station, or first deployment.  Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!!  Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!

Julie, be sure to make at least changes 2 and 3.

Juliez...a75, I see you have changed your Username so that it no longer contains your full name (probably some time ago). You also need to change the URL (address) to this page. Make change 2 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link) to take care of that. (If you are using a Smart phone, you will need to switch to Desktop View to make this change.)

Also make change 3 while you are there so that this page is no longer open to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web.

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Hi Julie- My son arrived on 8/17 as well.  We are out of Ohio.  My son's name is Corbin.  What is your son's name?  It would be so awesome if the boy's could meet and know their mom's are back home forming bonds in their honor!
