DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hey that is too cool that we may know some of the same people. My boys were born at Brandon as well. The oldest one is 18 and yes he signed on and left out of the Brandon recuiting station. He was recruited by the female there she was awesome. Our youngest is 15. My husband Mike has worked for Macy's in the ITT depart for almost 19 years. I work for a company who builds low income housing. I wish our guys had the same PIR date but either way it is great talking with you!

Hi its good to hear from you. We are in the Riverview area as well, my son's PIR is 9-10. He graduated from Newsome. My whole family was born in Riverview as well as both my sons so I am sure this is a big change for him. We have gotten the box, the grad announcement and three letters so far. No phone call yet which I am anxiously awaiting. We have already made hotel reservations, Casey will be staying in Great Lakes for a while. Hope all goes well for your son and I know you are just counting the days till you get to see him. I know they all are going to do wonderful things and have very promising careers.

Camping sounds like a lot of fun! I don't think you'd be that crazy to do that! haha. I would travel across the entire world for this.. I think I just got lucky with it being so close! We haven't made any hotel reservations yet.. but plan to here in the next couple of days. We're still not sure how many days we should stay because we don't know when exactly Jordan is leaving. He's going to South Carolina after graduation. He's in the Nuke Program. Is Steven leaving right away or is he staying in Great Lakes? Or not sure yet? lol.

Got the box yesterday, and hopefully the letter will come today or tomorrow so I, too, can start making reservations!!!

That's quite the distance you'll be travelling! We're just in Wisconsin... about 4 hours from Great Lakes. I hope they're doing good too! Maybe my brother knows Steven. :) His name is Jordan. I'm getting more and more excited each day... it just gets closer to the day I get to see my brother! :)

Just wanted to say hi as I am in Florida too, Gainesville. Waiting for the box now and then hopefully the letter soon. Several of the moms whose kids left the same day as Adam got their letters today and have a PIR date of 9/2 as well. He left on the 13th. Good luck to you and your son! Might see you at PIR!

2. Depper’s… in but not yet . is a group for those just waiting for bootcamp to start (Delayed Entry Program)
3. Boot Camp Moms group. Is your son/daughter already in bootcamp? This is the group.
4. OCS Graduate Moms or the NROTC Moms. For those going to be an officer or going to NROTC?
