nice! i have a lot to study besides general orders and a few other things lol. So you've gone to MEPS and everything just haven't gotten a rate yet? When i went i didnt get a job right away because they wanted me to wait so there would be more jobs open because that was when there would be a lot of jobs open for females.

I will be going in as an E1. Unless i get some referrals! lol or pass the PQS thing. Which right now, there's no way i could. Im so excited for boot camp! August is slowly but surely getting here lol. I am super proud of my boyfriend and it's crazy to think that the next time i see him, he will be a sailor! Oh a rate is a job, like my rate is AV. What's yours?

wow lucky! lol i want that many letters. my SR said every time he's had time to write, he always ends up having to iron or do something lame. I hope our SRs are doing well and rocking boot camp! Are you excited for boot next year? what's your rate?

So you leave next January? Yikes! I will have been in DEP a year by the time I leave so don't worry, most people are. Your SR is like the third week in right? So you should be getting a letter soon. I didn't get a letter until after the third week. I just got another one today (so letter #2). It was short and he's now almost done with his fourth week and they still are allowed to write and send mail only on Sundays. I hope you get one soon! They're so exciting! Lol I was like jumping up and down grinning when i got my letter :D

Hi, I received my form letter on Saturday. I wish they could call but maybe in a week or so. I'm doing better every day, how about you? It would be interesting to know if they know each other yet. How many guys do you think are in a division? I heard sometimes there are 80 or more.

Agreed!! It's one thing if youre a civilian girl dating a Sailor but it's pretty different when it comes to both being Sailors (well SR in boot and Future Sailor waiting to leave). I'm so glad im not the only one out there lol! When did your boyfriend leave for boot and when do you leave? I leave 10Aug and my boyfriend left 12Jan.
