Navy For Moms

Well I got through the first stage of letting go!!!!!
Lee left on Monday July 21st, we spent the day before in the hotel with him and Monday we went to MEPS to see him of. It was so hard, but at the same time I was very proud!!!
I received the phone call Monday night at 10:35 pm it was short but I didn't care. I knew he was ok!!! I got my first good night sleep that night.
I called his Recruiter today and he gave me his Address!! So the first letters are going out tomorrow :)

Letting go is not easy. But we reall never let go completely. Keep writing everyday. It will help you and Lee. Know you are not alone.

The good byes are always so hard but that first one is the worst. It will get a little better with each milestone that you cross. When you get to see him at PIR it will all have been worth it.

So glad that you already have his address and are handling things so well. We are here to help you thru, don't hesitate to ask questions.
