March 5, 2008 Letter from David

So I just received a letter from David. It started out a bit sad. He said he was having a bad day because he misses us soooooooo much and that when he sees us he is going to give us the biggest hug and kissess. You know I cried after reading that. He took his pictures and says he looks really good in his uniform. We are so very proud of our David. He passed Test #2 and says that the important things left for him to do are Test #3, the 3rd PFA, a bunk and clothes inspection, a marching assessment, and battle stations (which according to him, it's everything they've learned at boot camp). He explained his surgery (wisdom teeth) and that after a week, he had to go back into surgery because he had an infection. Poor David! Now he's fine, thank God.
