For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Anyone know about Bayou Grande Apartments in Pensacola FL
Hi,
I am currently trying to get things around to move to Pensacola FL to be with my boyfriend and i am not having the best of luck. Every apartment complex that seems to be in my price range is either in the "ghetto" or has so many problems that its not even worth it. I have been searching online, as i wont be able to get there to look in person, and i found a quite little apartment complex near both of the bases. It is called Bayou Grande. I was wondering if anyone knew if they were for military personnel only or if anyone could rent there. They have temporary housing where you can rent from month to month or permanent housing as well. It doesnt say that whether or not civilians or Navy girlfriends can live there and i cant seem to get in contact with anyone to find out any more information either. Has anyone heard of them or lived there before? any info is helpful at this point. Thank you

Do you know the address? I live off highway 98 in a nice and very safe apartment. I can email you the info if you'd like. Unfortunatley a lot of pensacola is the ghetto. But my complex is mainly military because its affordable and in a good area. Im about 5 mins from base.

Would you please message me with the details on your apartment complex? the other ones i have been looking at are called Bayou Marcus Townhomes and ive been told they are not in a nice area, but the lady at the complex said they are safe. Im still wanting to look around so that would be great if you could message me :) thank you
