Looking for PIR date for this group, or hoping the letter will be in today's mail. My son arrived at BC a week ago. I did get the box... :)

Thank you

We have a report from a recruiter that Division 254 is in the 08/15/2014 TG, but no form letters for Divisions 253 or 254 yet that I am aware of. Others with recruits who arrived on the 17th and 18th are receiving The Form Letter today. Those are for Divisions 251, 252 and 940, so 253 and 254 will be next. Ten days after arrival is the average time to receive The Form Letter so perhaps tomorrow will be your day if it as not in the mail today. 08/15/2014 is the most likely date for PIR for those arriving on 06/18/2104 as your SR did, although it could be the week after. The group for 08/15/2014 is PIR 08/15/2014 TG 40. Divisions 253 an 254 are brother divisions and will train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.

Thank you. My boss is "asking" me to put in my time off request now if I want to attend my son's PIR, and does not understand about waiting for form letter to confirm the exact date. I still need to wait, if I request dates off, book flight and hotel, and then see a different date that would be a pain! ;)

You are very welcome. Hopefully the form letter will come tomorrow.
