Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Had to take my sailor back to the base. Miss her already!
Dropped Danielle back off at the base. It was very tear filled. It was hard leaving the base without her. I wanted to grab her and take her back home with me. I enjoyed every minute with my sailor. She is so grown up now it is unbelievable. I get to see her again in about 6 weeks. My birthday weekend. Can't wait for that already.
I cried yesterday too when I had to drop her back off at base. It really didn't help matters that the Toby Keith song American Soldier came on just as we left the base. I cried like a baby all the way back to the hotel. I had heard the song before but never really listened to the song. It is pretty powerful.

Awww, I bawled, literally, when we took my oldest son back to base for the last time before we flew home......it was completely unexpected by me and greatly upset my son. I felt bad for upsetting him. Please know that it DOES get better. Just give yourself more time. Communication opens up now that boot camp is over. Don't get me wrong, it's been 2 1/2 years and while it's better, I still have heartaches from missing him. And now, I'm also dealing with my youngest being there. His PIR was Sept 3. But hang in there, the loneliness and the heartache does lessen. Just continue to be proud and realize this is all a part of life. This is what I tell myself. And yes, American Soldier.......AWESOME song!

Thank you for this. It was an awesome weekend. But one thing that my daughter said to me was everyhing is working out the way it is supposed to work out. I love the Navy and even though I miss you more than you know I know you are always there supporting me. It is the way it is supposed to be. She never ceases to amaze me anymore. :) Thanks for the love and support. (Hugs back to you all)

Thanks. She is something else. She was the RPOC and was awesome at it. It has been an amazing weekend and emotional one that is for sure. LOL
