Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Blog #2 A young woman's Navy journey begins
Good Morning...My son is now an EM3 in the US Navy. He has a very tough few months ahead in power school , but he is determined ,, diligent, and has amazed me so far. He will be tested to and beyond his limits. And I have every confidence that, with God, he will do greater than he expects. He will be able to finish strong.
In church yesterday, a very intelligent young lady in our congregation was engaged in conversation with me when I asked her to back up and repeat what she had just told me. "I am joining the Navy" she said with sparkling eyes. "That's what I just thought you said" said I. Have you seen a recruiter?" "Yes". "You know we are a new navy family as well" I remarked. "Yes" she said. This was wonderful to me. As she walked off with her friend, her dad happened to walk up. "Yes" , he shared, " for a couple of years she has known she wanted to join the armed forces...but she didn't know what branch to choose. Well, one night she had a dream that she was dressed in an officer's uniform in the US Navy and so THAT is how her journey begins."!!!!!!!!

Love your profile pic...Yes Lady Hawk ..as my son rises in rank and progresses, I feel called to a greater commitment to prayer and encouragement. I am impressed more and more with the Navy personnel based on the contact I have had during graduations. I feel our country is in good hands and their priorities are right!.
