Our contact in Guam posted this information today. I had asked for it and she really came thru. I currently have on hand fabric for: packers, university of Michigan, cowboys. I did have bears, but gave it to a friend. I'll see if I can get some back.
another member is in Ohio right now and I emailed her to see if she can get Buckeye and Bengal fabric. Lyn has the Steelers covered and a sailor's mom is getting U of Georgia..

SO, if any of you live in a state that I haven't named, and would like to mail me some fabric, I will make a pillowcase for them. And the sooner the better, as I have a craft fair at the end of the month I need to work on. I need anywhere from 1/4 to 1 yard. your choice. If you just get 1/4 yard, I will make a banded one.

This is exciting! I do have other football fabric and Lyn has some too, but if we can make it specific, that would be better. My son said "mom, anything personal is awesome, but I know that is hard to do." And here, Sarah drops that opportunity into our laps.

I hope so too Barbara. This one was so personal and I really hope the sailors will respond. There was that big storm over there, so it's possible the mail is delayed. I know a few moms have had messages, but they might have mailed earlier. I think that storm hit the day that I mailed.
Please post in here if you do hear.
Dear Moms,
Im sorry i havent responded sooner. We have recieved i believe well over 40 boxes. The shop was so excited we all sat around the shop table and opened them as a group. HT3 Gacke, Shanon she was the one who is pregnate loved the baby stuff. I can say for the whole shop we loved the pillow cases. HTFN Patten Loved the Georgia Bulldog stuff. Im glad we got the boxes, 3 of our sailors transfered but were able to get they mother love box, HT3 Murphy, HT3 Meyer, HT2 Richardson.

HTFA LARKIN

PS. the reason i havent been on is cause i was in a depressed stated and did some stupid stuff. I went up to Captains Mass for use of illegal substance.I went before the captain, xo, cmc, chaplain, jag, and my chain of command. I was scared to death. My drug test came back NEGATIVE. I stood in front of the CAPT and told him my story, than it came down to what was going to happen to me and this is what he said.

Restriction 30 days
Reduction in Rank to E-2
Half Months Pay Times 2
Separation : GENERAL

I am in mental health now and im getting the help i need.

THANK YOU MOMS FOR YOUR SUPPORT
From our lips to His word, prayers are sent by us through this love project.
Sue, if you respond to Larkin will you please tell her that her Navy Moms are here for her if she needs more support!
I did respond to her on the Molly page and many other moms have told her the same thing. I knew something was wrong cause she had been so verbal and then nothing. I thought maybe our mail had been stuffed somewhere cause of the storm.
I was very happy to hear from her.
thanks Carol!
My friend Anita received a special post card from the Guam group. Has anyone else gotten one? Please let me know if you do. She's going to scan it so I can type it in.
Here's the postcard that Anita got:
Hello Anita,
I have received my Bengals pillowcase. thank you very much! I actually have it on my pillow right now. I have actually never gotten such nice gifts from people that I do not know. I think it is a tremendous show of support that you have donated your time and efforts to support me and my fellow sailors. You have my best wishes for youand your family. Thanks again!
Very respectfully,
John

This is so nice.
Has anyone heard from Larkin lately? Just wondering how she's doing.....and keeping her in our prayers.
Carolyn, Larkin gave an update on Molly's group page. She is home and improving. I suspect she might like a note of encouragement. Can't we all use those sometimes.
I have not. thought about sending her a pm.
I LIVE IN OHIO AND WILL CHECK JOANNE FABRIC AND ANY OTHERS I CAN FIND. WHO DO I MAIL THIS TO?
