DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Okay, for future get-together, maybe a N4M dinner the night before PIR, let us know where you are staying.

My husband Mike and I are staying at the Navy Lodge, as are my parents and *maybe* my grandparents.

We're staying at the Residence Inn. I finally got my rooms booked since I couldn't get 2 rooms at the Navy Lodge.
Navy Lodge all by myself at the moment. Nothing is going to keep me from the hubby.
Yogi - check your messages. You are from my home stomping grounds and I know another recruit from your area. He joined the Navy with a buddy, and I'm wondering if it is your husband.
My son is Jeff div 102 also heading to Pensacola AO****
My husband, David's girlfriend and I will be staying at the SpringHill Suites in Gurnee. Looking forward to meeting you all.
David will be heading to Charleston after PIR. Don't know yet if he will be grad and go, but we are staying until Sunday in case we will have more time to spend with him.
Hi, my son is on Ship 07 Div 102 and will be going to South Carolina for A school. We're from Southern California and will be flying in. I haven't made hotel reservations yet because I don't know how much time we'll have with him or whether I can get away without a rental car. Any advice would be appreciated. The Ramada Inn sounds nice and says it has a shuttle to PIR for an additional fee. Does anyone know what that fee is?
DebbieinCA, I think most of the shuttle fees are $3 per person each way.
Tammy and I will be staying at the Quality Inn in Waukegan.
We're planning to stay at Springhill Suites in Waukegan Gurnee. We means me, Sean's dad = my ex-husband, Jim, and his girlfriend, Cheryl...separate rooms, but we will be sharing a rental car. Yes, miraculously, we get along that well. Our divorce was peaceful and a long time ago.
