OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Have you gotten it???? I am talking to Joe.
WOO HOO!! or rather HOO YAH!! lol

I have a Sailor in my family!!

(My hubby is still on the phone with him, right now)

He sounds tired, but he also has a cold - yippee.
AWESOME!! Josh didn't mention that, but I didn't think to ask either!

It's so good to know they finally got together and worked as a TEAM!

Ok - is it Friday, yet? lol
I hear ya! Oh - and they won't post the Honor Graduates until two days prior to graduation - so you haven't missed anything.
Joe is an e2
yea joe pulled the same thing. He tried to convince me that he wasnt graduated until the 5th!!!
Well ladies, this is it! We're scrambling around now trying to get our last minute errands run because we're heading north in a few hours! It's gonna be an all-nighter for us ... hey! It's our version of Battlestations! BLECK! lol

Can't wait to see and meet everyone face to face either at the Meet-n-Greet or at PIR on Friday! (Don't know for sure if we'll be at the Meet-n-Greet, but we will be there on Friday with big smiles on our faces!)

Safe travels to everyone! Enjoy your time with your SAILOR!!
The link posted by tiff's mom has your son in it!!!!
oh okay.
Nearly done. His mom told me his last name and it matches.... unless there are 2 with his first AND last name.
Ok - which Josh are we talking about? lol

Where's the post?

I'm in the midst of packing, but realized I hadn't printed off our hotel room confirmation .... so I thought I'd check in before logging off!

We're leaving in a couple of hours! (Waiting until later in the afternoon so as to miss the Atlanta rush hour - which is actually the Atlanta rush HOURS!)
Saw the link ... not my Joshua - drats! But I'm sure that Josh's mom will be happy! Hey, I'll get to see mine in a couple of days!

Oh - and we are not dressing "fancy" - since we have to travel so much, so quickly - it's gonna be blue jeans, tennis shoes and sweaters for me and for both my hubby and son. We will be driving all night tonight and I don't want to have to worry about ironing ANYTHING ...

See ya'll in Great Lakes!
