Yes, my son is in Ship 3 Division 234 with PIR of 7/1/10. Would love to chat more!
Hi,
Have you had any more communication with your son? I was beginning to wonder, what was going on.. I try to live by "no news is good news". I can hardly wait to go to graduation!
Hello my son is ship3 Division 234. I have had 1 call and 1 letter besides the form letter.

He left for college so I thought I would be better prepared when he left but I miss him and find myself rushing to the post every morning.
Hi, We too have only had one letter and one call. I try to think that "no news is good news". If something bad were happening, I'm sure we would hear about it.... Are you going to be at the graduation? I'm going to fly in a few days early to see Chicago :)
Yes I am going to the graduation. I am coming in the day before graduation, I am originally from Illinois so it is a dual trip. I am staying at the Ramada Inn.
Getting excited to go to seeing my son on the First! Fourteen days and counting until we fly in. Checking the weather daily to see when it comes up on the 10 day forcast--not really because of the actual weather, but it just means only 10 days. Little crazy mom, I know!
Just received a call from my son. He sounded great. I miss him more now I think.
Well the count down begins! I went on line today and got the entry pass. That process went extremely well. Not sure if we will be driving on the 1st or taking a shuttle from our motel, sounds like it will be much better not to drive. Does any one know when the battle stations are supposed to take place? They said to ask your recruit, but my son apparently isn't the best communicator, or at least the calls go by too fast to get every answer to every question. At any rate, I have no clue how tht works and when it generally takes place.
10 Days till I see my son!! I have a son in the Army and he is coming too!! I am so excited!! This will be the first our family has been completely together for over a year. Anthony was the last to leave home. I knew I would miss him, just didn't realize how much!! I can hardly wait. We too are staying at the Ramada. Want to have photos done while we are all there, anyone know of a place?
So only 9 days left! Anyone know when they do Battle Stations??? I saw something on another group, but can't find it now? Looks like they do them in order of division, but also thought there are some days that they do not do them. Waiting is so hard!!!
My son is Ship 3 Div 234. My husband and I have been lucky, we've gotten 6 letters, the 15 second phone call, "I'm Here!", a 3 minute call and a 20 minutes call, that was a slice of heaven. We sure are looking forward to seeing him next week if all goes well. If anyone gets any information it would be great to hear about it, I'll pass on any that I get, if he calls again.
I was curious if anybody has heard about Battle Stations? I had ask my son but I have not heard from him in 9 days. Just curious if anyone else knew when they were scheduled.
