OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

Event Description

~ANCHORS AWEIGH~ Farewell Party FEBRUARY 4th!!

It's less than a month away! On February 8th, our lovely Lillian will be sent off to Chicago for Boot Camp. In case you haven't heard, back in May, Lilly joined the United States Navy. She's been waiting over 7 months to ship off to Great Lakes and the time is finally here. Please join friends and family in celebrating her choice to join the Navy and to wish her good luck!

There will be food, drinks, and music. We ask that you bring some sort of snack/food/soda- there will be a cash bar at the Legion. We've got the space til midnight, at which point we're sure Lilly is going to want to keep the party going; those who wish to continue the good time can do so at our home a few minutes away. Also, anyone who would like to crash at the house is welcome.

Hope to see everyone there! Let's say bon voyage to our Sailor appropriately, with a good party ;)

"Fair winds and following seas" to our Lilly!
