This is gonna be a AWESOME event. Bring kiddy -hubbys and stuff for our Sailors...We are sending a Laua to the USS CROMMELIN....

The Bunker is located at 3400 N. Tanner Road in Orlando. For those familiar with the UCF area, particularly the Brighthouse Stadium (which is on McCullough Road) you go past the stadium (On your right) to N. Tanner Road and turn right on N Tanner Rd and we are approximately 2 - 2 1/2 miles on the right. You can't miss it, There is a sign - I will see if they can post Welcome Navy 4 Moms on the Board (don't know if we have enough letters LOL) there are military helicopters, tanks, etc. You will think you are driving back onto the Naval Station at GL - LOL!

Diane and Mary, thanks...that helps to clarify it for us. Just remember I will be there but I may be only slightly late because I have to work with an appointment at noon. I may try to go earlier if the client can meet earlier but I won't know until the day before.

Jody, the timing 1-7, the reason I HAVE to do that is
When you post an event on N4Ms you must have a beginning time and an end time..So I just pick 1 pm...the end time is when ever we are done packing the boxes. So PLease everyone, just pay attention to the start time...I alway HATE putting an end time.....

The food and drink is strictly by donation. We are non-profit and everyone makes donations. Most people donate $5-6 for the meal. You get a full meal - believe me. Depending on how much water or soda you want and depending on how much you want to donate. It is totally up to you. The serving time of the meals will really depend because we are not the only group that is going to be there that day and I am not sure if they are going to barbecue or put out my ziti/meatballs. I usually cook for the Karaoke night, but just in case I am making enough for all others that will be there. I don't know about Diane, but I am at the Bunker all day. I really don't think it will take us all day to pack boxes. We have alot going on at the Bunker that day - not just the USS Crommelin. Whatever time you get there is fine - it would just be great to have everyone show up with their bag of goodies to send over to the USS Crommelin. Don't forget to wear your smiley faces - we will be recording - LOL :)

Mary, what is the cost for the food for this day so I know how much cash to bring for us and when is the meal served (about what time)? I may be just a little late because I have an appointment at noon to sell customer life insurance. Also wondering, Diane and Mary, 1-7 seems like a long time-are we expected to stay the whole time?

Just a note to let you know. I am cooking because it is my turn at the Bunker to make a meal. None of you ladies are required to make anything to come for the packing. This is a Bunker program. We take turns out there preparing the meals for the evening. We will have food & drink to offer - but please RSVP so Diane knows how many.
