Event Description

This is a Meet and Greet for families of recruits with a Pass-In-Review date of Thursday, May 27, 2010.

The Meet and Greet is sponsored by the Ramada Waukegan-Gurnee as a service to the families of recruits, and occurs on the evening prior to their graduation. Families of recruits in all divisions are welcome to attend, whether or not you're staying there.

The time is 6:00-8:00 PM, and free, hot hors d'oeuvres will be served. For guests registered at the Ramada, you will be given complimentary drink tickets, 2/room (not 2/guest). A cash bar will be available for non-registered attendees. The Ramada will also provide name tags, so we won’t be overly-taxed trying to remember the names of all our new friends!

If you are planning to attend, please RSVP and leave a comment below with the number you’ll have attending. We need to get an estimated head count to the Ramada by Tuesday, May 25th.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Ok div 200 purple it is! Jon will be pleased that's not ours! Maybe I should choose blue so he can wear it proudly!
Tina so sorry you won't be there!
We are flying so I decided to check a bag so I could get the flowers in.
I'll need the final count/color by Sat. I'll get them then. Does that sound good to ya all?

Hey Y'all-
I can't make it to the M&G; we're staying at the Comfort Inn at Gurnee Mills under the name Michael Phillips. If anybody is staying there also, I would be most appreciative if you could drop off a Ship14 Div 200 flower for me. Thanks a million! Holy Cow, it's so close now!!!

Purple is fine with me. It's one of my daughter's favorite colors. When and where are we making them, I am pretty crafty and would love to help if I can make it.

I think we have Jamel too...and I bet he'd be willing to go with Purple. We've talked a bit, and he seems like a good sport!! :)

THANK YOU JILL!! I can't wait to meet you too. You have been so lovely! :-)

I agree so....purple it is then. I think the only other mom we have for our ship is Nanon. Nanon...are you okay with purple?

I still don't know our schedule but we will definately meet. I already feel like I know you and you and Lori have been so instrumental in keeping us all going strong. Have a wonderful week - only 2 more days are we are in SINGLE DIGITS!!! Yeah!

Can't make the meet and greet because my flight doesn't get in until too late- but I'd LOVE to get a flower for the PIR so that others know who I am! :) Lori from MD and I have meet, so she knows who I am! Maybe she can bring me mine, as I think we are planning to see each other prior to the ceremony. Thanks!!! And I DO hope we will get to see each other for at least a bit afterwards while we wait for the NEW SAILORS to finish up whatever they need to directly following the ceremony.

Blessings all,
~marilyn~
