Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Event Description

Meet and Greet for all family / friends who are attending PIR 06/11. Please RSVP so that the Ramada can have a head count for the number for people coming. You do not have to be staying at the hotel to attend. You would just meet in the bar at 6:00pm the Thursday before graduation. This will be the perfect time to meet everyone you have grown close to over the past 8 weeks or so.

My husband and I would like to attend the Meet and Greet for the 06/11/10 PIR. Our grandson is with Ship 11, Div 216. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I would be happy too. "Pawpaw" and I plan to arrive by at least noon on the 9th if not before. We are driving up from Oklahoma.

We will be staying at the Ramada so we will be attending if get in on time.We are driving from PA,There will be four in our group

I will be staying at the Navy Lodge with my husband, but plan on being at the Ramada Inn for the meet and greet. I am very excited to meet everyone in person....
