Hello I have not posted on this sight for a couple weeks- been drowning in school :) but wanted to say thanks for all the support and encouragement I've received- sooo appreciated! Look forward to meeting you all in person. I'm sure everyone's beyond excited to see thier sailors! I will be at the meet & greet, we will be a party of 4. I will bring oreos and will try to make a sash, not very crafty! Wishing you all safe travel!!!

Hi there! I just joined and I'm still really hesitant about posting, but it feels strange to just lurk and observe everything so I decided to take a chance and dive in! I want to attend this get together SO badly!!! But my flight gets into O'Hare around 6 and I'm still not entirely sure how I'm getting to the Days Inn where I'm staying :o But I can't tell you how much I really want to be there! Any ideas for fast transit (that won't run me $50-100 like the cab would) will be greatly appreciated! :)

No you do not have to make a sash. There will be lots of others there who won't have one. We are doing them because it will help us to recognize the moms from our PIR group on this site. So if you can't get one made at least come up to those wearing them and introduce yourself and let us know you are one of our queens lol. Look forward to seeing you there.

For a pic of the sash's look on the PIR 7-23 oreos page and look at the discussion about meet and greet. They are just typical sash like for a beauty pageant. If you can find the pic let me know.
