UPDATE:
Okay… we have about 10ish moms joining us (which we are super excited about)… But we are really hoping for more! For the moms that are coming… can you bring anyone… family, friends- over 18 years old? (As long as they don’t mind wearing a Navy For Mom’s tees-shirt!)
So let me know if you can bring another person to join us for the day!
For those thinking about it… please let me know ASAP… we would really love to know either way!
And really, it’s not too late to say- Hey, Cath, I just read this for the first time and I'm thinking about attending. The sooner we know the better. October 1st would be best for knowing. But you can always e-mail me (navyformoms@gmail.com) or PM me if you are unsure and need another day or so to figure things out with work and what not.
Thank you- and hope to be talking to you soon! – CC

It's parade time again and NAVYForMoms.com is showing their presence in the Columbus Day Parade in NYC on October 13! The Columbus Day parade is a huge event in NYC. It features vibrant culture and spectacular achievements of some of the people who made America great. And who better to represent this country than our Navy moms! October 13th also is the Navy's 233rd birthday, so we will be celebrating that historic day with the parade goers as well.
20 NFM members will have the opportunity to take part in this very exciting event. NFM members walking in the parade will be accompanied by a NFM float and will receive a very cool NFM t-shirts to show their pride. We'll also supply breakfast and/or lunch for all attendees. Transportation expenses will need to be covered by the attendees.
If you can join us in NYC on Monday, Oct 13th - we'd love to have you there! Below is the details for the parade. For more info on Columbus Day & the parade in NYC, please visit the Columbus Citizens Foundation website http://www.columbuscitizensfd.org/home.shtml.
