me that they were talking about that OTHER Washington, the one everyone else in the country thinks of before us. 'sigh'
Never noticed that this happens to WA STATE residents until my son and his wife become them...
From what my kids tell me about WA...its is BEAUTIFUL and I would move there in a split second, if I could sell my house, find a job and have someone do all that work FOR ME...no really....WA sounds like such a gorgeous place to
live and since my kids now live there...My heart is also there...or at least a big chunk of it. I do plan to visit as much as I can......or until Heather and Shawn tell me to stay away {which I doubt}
So for everyone...consider this "get together" a "house" warming or home coming party for MAUH!,,,,,LOL
Cause this will be one of many visits to come...
love to all

Well, since she blew my cover, allow me to explain. I was checking out the other upcoming events and noticed a Washington DC one, then I saw "Christmas in Washington" and got momentarily all excited. Where could such a celebration be, in Olympia or in Seattle?? Very cool and festive on an election year, only I hadn't seen any chat about it from the Wa/Ore group.

Of course it then dawned on me that they were talking about that OTHER Washington, the one everyone else in the country thinks of before us. 'sigh'. I lived on the East Coast for over a year, so I know this is true. So I thought, well I wouldn't want the MD/Virginia Moms to get all pumped about a spring event only to be disappointed. LOL That's my story, stickin' to it. Absolutely nothing to do with Pacific NW/ Washington STATE territorial pride! :-)

btw Diane; all my PS kids call me "Miss Angie", you can introduce me to Jules that way, then you'll know if she's chattin' with me on the phone. =)

You girls are amazing...this is gonna be outstanding...I in on the banner....
and yes it should say something that Navy Moms and use over and over again.It can travel all over the country...So each time a navy mom has a homecoming the banner can be used and maybe even signed and dated on back??? whata think>>>
Comment by Melissa (Tucson) on October 4, 2008 at 2:45pm
I'm in as long as I don't have a conflict with Matt's homecoming!!
