Count me in, on the Banner, on the homecoming welcome, on N4M fun....I'm like, sooo totally there! Hmm, wonder if my MIL would allow a N4M slumber party at her Whidbey Island Cottage, anyone need a free place to stay? Think we could sleep at least 6 I think? Just a short hop down the freeway or by ferry to Seattle! Come to think of it, Lisa G, a retired HM herself, lives there too and has already offered her place for out of town/stationed Sailors, Moms, holiday diners etc. This is gonna be GREAT, esp if Joyce, Mary, Sue S., Shell and the rest come along. Save your pennies ladies! :-)

Mary I just went and looked at the pic ~ Exactly what I was thinking ! If we get one of those with the wording welcoming home everyone, I think it would be nice :) We just need to get the wording down. I really would like it to say something from all your Navy Moms, or Love Navy Moms, or Navy Moms from across America welcome you home. What do you think ?

I got one. I have a photo of it on my page. I sent it to my daughter and the girls plus some of Nick's friends surprised him at the airport in Phoenix with it. We'll use it each time he comes back to port. I'll pitch in if you want to get a heroes banner!

I got Colton a welcome home banner from that free site, but I cannot remember the site now. does anyone have the link still ?
We could do the one that says Welcome Home Heros
Love Navy Moms. Or something like that, make it generic so that we can re-use it for anytime we go to homecommings.
What do you guys think ? Of course because we happen to have a sailor on that ship also (Shawn) we could hold Shawns one too !! Did you get Shawn one Diane ?

LOL Diane, I would probably even have time to make some 'cold weather' clothes . . . hee-hee:)! You know I'm 'abandoning' my husband next week to go to Calif - maybe I should wait a bit before I tell him I'm going to Washington - LOL:)!
