I AM SO JEALOUS - I WANT TO BE THERE WITH YOU ALL - I FEEL CLOSER TO SOME OF YOU THAN I DO PEOPLE THAT I HAVE KNOWN FOR YEARS!!!
yeah.....what our Brenda said
Brenda and Shell, I know so many new and good friends for life! I have some neat name tags made for all the moms that signed up for dinner. When Molly and LynnDear had dinner at that PIR they didn't even realize who each other was until they were leaving the restaurant - not letting that happen!

Beginning to question myself...excited to see our son or...excited to see my Navy for Moms allies!!!
ALL of u have a Wonderful time...I wish this site would of been up and running when we went to chicago for bc...Is this restraurant in chicago or closer to the base? So excited for all of u to see ur daughters/sons....I must tell you all typing this I had to stop because tears started to flow as much as we miss r children and it does get better then those bc days and u always think of them with worry, happiness for them, excitement when they call and share something new, cheer them up or shed a tear when u know they r homesick, and joy and pride because they are defending this Great Country and are so willing to do so.... but sometimes the aches of the bc months creep up and kick butt on your emotions, I told a friend once only a military MOM knows this emotion...So enjoy ur time with your children and God Bless them All!!!!! Love Marie your navy for Moms friend....:)
Thanks Marie, it will be a weekend of enjoyment. The restaurant is within two miles of the base.

My bags are packed! My computer and camera are charged! *Soooo Excited!*
I'm packed too!!! Steve is on his way to drop the pup at the kennel and then is hitting the store as our son wanted Sweet Tarts!!! We head over to the airport about 12:30 today :-) and will land at 4:45 but have to pick up a car so hoping to get to the restaurant early but don't know what we will run into as far as traffic and car rental.

Drive very careful Catherine - we are honored that you will be spending the evening with us!
Looking forward to seeing all of you - don't forget to check the messges on the live feed every once in a while. I don't have a web cam - so I can only talk at ya.
I so remember our PIR dinner at the Full Moon, Jan 2007. Have a wonderful time getting to know one another. This is a great way to pass the evening when you will all be on pins and needles.
