My husband graduates on the 30th of this month, and will be an ET in the Nuke program in Charleston.. my kids and I will be living with him during A-school and wherever he goes after that. We don't have any pets right now because we have a 20 month old and an 8 month old and they keep us pretty busy as it is.. but of course down the road, say in like 3-4 years I'll want to get an dog or a cat! My question is, is it true that when you get stationed in a different country, OR say you move to Hawaii, that they quarantine your animals for a few months?
I understand why they do it, I'm just wondering if its not as bad as it sounds? I would hate to be without my pet for a little while.. its kind of sad. Hahaha. So thanks in advance. :)
