DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

The really scary thing is I have to keep switching between NFMs' and the Marines Moms" sights(of which I use two).........I have learned more about the Navy and the Marines(sons in both) then my sons who LIVE IT!! LOL They keep telling me "mom, there is more to life ya know", we can get through this by LIVING it...." I can't seem to get ENOUGH info.~~~
Oh I agree - I am like a sponge! Can't get enough but, can't reply to everything I'd like to either. So little time for these more important things -ha!
Smile & have a great day on N4M ladies & gents!
As many of you know . . . my older son has been taking online classes, working toward his teaching certification . . . Well, this session, he has two classes instead of one and has been 'monopolizing' HIS laptop . . . the nerve of him!!!
So . . . I have been seriously considering buying myself a new phone and upgrading to one that has unlimited internet access . . .
Dare I spend money on something 'un-necessary'? Or it this necessary? What to do, what to do . . .
Well Joyce, How many trips to the Library are you willing to make? At one hour per secession.LOL It might be cheaper than paying for the gas. Hee Hee.
Oh Joyce - that's easy

Laptop Computer - $900.00
Unlimited Internet Access on cell phone - $25.00
Peace of mind for a Navy Mom - PRICELESS!
No lie, when i am really down or need a laugh, this is where I come. I hope everyone is fine and you are blessed with another beautiful day take care,Leann
You know you are addicted to NavyforMoms when you have a vacation planned and you have anxiety's about not being able to get on this site for a whole week. Then you have to get your lap top set up with Verizons wireless card and sign up for a whole year contract at $50 per month, just so you have access unlimited for one week! (plan is to give the card to my son when he's at A school)

In fact I am currenlty riding in the van cruising down the highway. I figured the 7 hr trip will be short I'll be on this site the whole time :-) I'm happy
if you have more than one computer in your house do you need to get a card for each? Does this card allow you to use the internet anywhere on the road? I got slammed by roaming cost and could only use mine at McD. or airports. If you get this card you can get rid of other internet in your house? like att? If that would work I would get rid of my home phone, internet site and just use the wireless card and cell. We don't have Verizon in Lake Charles, but if it works anywhere I would try it
You also know you are addicted to NavyforMoms when your 15 year old daughter is yelling at you to get off the computer or she'll be late for school!
My 14 year old always tells me to get off Navy for Moms, too. I tell her, "Hello, it's important"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not like My Space, this really matters. The nerve! I need to buy her a lap top so she'll leave my computer alone!!! And I do think it's worth it. Hehe!
I'm definitely addicted!!! And love every minute of it!!! This site has been the greatest therapy ever!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
You know your additcted to N4M's when you decide you would rather stay on the computer instead of going to the gym first thing in the morning :)
