OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

When your son takes his laptop in to be 'de-bugged' so you head to the public library in order to use the computer - AND THEY HAVE A ONE HOUR TIME LIMIT!!!! So please excuse any typos, as I'm typing as fast as I can . . . .

Ok ... you know you are on the Navy for moms site too much when .... your son sends home letters asking just what we are talking about on here because all of his friends moms know him and his name is in THEIR letters!! LOL
Amen!
Today is my first day on Navy For Moms but I am addicted already....my kids have been bugging my husband and I about our computer being to slow for months now...AHAHAH I 've been dying all day cause Our Computer is TOOO sloW!!! I can't soak up enough information and support at this speed!
First thing I said to my husband when he got home today "Hon I think the kids need a new computer! lol!

Thant is definitely me today!! Oh well, it's raining outside, the weeds will still be there, only longer. I've managed to get some laundry done so no one is going to go around naked tomorrow. They might have to forage for themselves tonight though if I don't get off soon!

When you realize it is like Monk's favorite saying on his TV show--his ability, like N4M, is
"both a blessing and a curse." Here I thought I was over my shoulder strain from being on a keyboard all day when I changed jobs. Now, both my dogs (aka feet) hurt from standing on concrete, and my shoulders have to be stretched every 20 minutes per the chiropractor's orders. Plus, had to put a new caster on the old big butt chair for the computer.
You know you are addicted to N4M when your teenage daughter tells you to get off the computer, because you are on it more than she is!!! (This is what my daughter says!!!)
