OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Reading the posts after battle stations, it seems that first phone call comes with the request to have a really good meal after graduation.

One of our fellow moms - just pointed out they have White Castles in Chicago!! Do you think this might be considered a "really good meal" for our new sailors?!!

Seriously, we live in the South and it is a treat to go up north and have a White Castle! But what I'm really looking for is recommendations for eating out that weekend.

I hear Chicago Pizza is a must try...any others?

I took classes in Critical incident training by many people that were also in Oklahoma boming. We were taking care of people from Hurricane Katrina when we got hit 3 weeks later by Hurricane Rita which distroyed SW Louisiana. When I meet you I hope it will be at our sons PIR and not some disaster. WHAT DAY is your BD. I noticed that you had not answered that yet.
25th. :>) I am done with big disasters, unless it is to push paper behind the scenes to evaluate reactions for future needs. My hubby and I do little "disasters" here in ND, search and rescue, grief interventions. stuff like that.
That is why I had the back surgery. As a nurse, we try to avoid it. But the one bone, broke the next one and I was about 2 inches shorter. So it put a stop to it. But it was a brand new technique. I am glad yours worked. Any break especially in the neck, I think is real scary for potential problems. Are you pain free?
I just had this funny image of your breast feeding with a halo on your head. That is the way I always thought of Mary holding Jesus
I certainly never looked that good :)
Ladies, I am so thankful that you ARE medical miracles . . . AND you are also miracles in my life:)!
That's funny!!!! So now they know why you spend so much time with us!

Joyce, I am back at work and took a peek. Thank YOU, it is the family. I am learning all the time (actually from Shell) how to be gracious, and diplomatic. I am a slow learner some days. But as I remember that it was also from YOUR COMMENTS on day, that I thought, OH YEAH, TURN THAT OTHER CHEEK.
I am here also....love Steve's mom dancing everything...I am partical to spiderman, since that is what we call my son...
WOW just had a chance to read all of the pages before, you guys it is amazing the medical miricles. I am so glad the you both are here with us. ( I have to say the breast -feeding in a halo ?? ) That would have to be tricky at best.
