Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

LOL---Lord when Shawn told me whole story of the Snipes and Twidgetts {thxs for the spell check} He sounded like if they would of told him the world was flat he would of believe it....LOL-he just lovin' it right now.....Oh he took his Phase II test yesterday..didn't hear anything, but he has me mail clothes up..which I did this a.m. now I am just 45.00 lighter, too bad they weren't LBS
I have a feeling that Colton is buying himself new clothes...... he phased 2 last week and no mention on sending him clothes.
That kid........ I hope he doesnt spend too much.
LOL on the snipe / twidgett thing Colton loves it also. I am thinking about getting a licence cover that says navy snipe mom :)
Shawn said that there is alot of "snipe" stuff with all the snipe insigna on it...I am gonna ask him to get some of the "good stuff" Shawn is cheap-cheap cheap..God forbid he goes out and buys anything...He calls me each morning with a new request...now he want his "fishing lures"-hooks etc...I said some of that stuff is really inexpensive go try to buy it, cause it will cost more to ship, I just told him "YES DEAR" i am on it. LOL
LOL .......... That is funny because lures really are only 1 to 2 dollars each. LOL
I want some snipe stuff too !!! That is what we can ask for on mothers day :)
Hey snipe insignia ? I have not seen that ........ I have seem my sons EM insignia. (Which by the way I am trying to get for one of my pictures.) BUT I want to see a snipe insignia.....

Okay girls...are you messing with me on this Snipes and Twidgett stuff. You are going to force me to ask my ole' Sailor husband and be embarassed by the answer..right?!!!

Perhaps Snipes and Twidgetts should be our new forum of the day! I'm sure there are a few more moms that could write their sons today and ask...are you a snipe?!!!!!

OH..that comment about skittles, the guy in the next office came in to see if I was o.k, and to tell me to take a breath-i was laughing soooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard...Now i have this mental pic....
